Recent Problems in Garmin nuvi® 255W Car GPS Receiver

the gps freezes and loses reception at the same exit on the highway

NUVI 255W won't start
Starts to initialize until it gets to loading maps.......then shuts down and restarts again, only to shut down agai...

I just came home from work and had my gps turned on and plugged in and when i arrived at home i powered off the uni...
